When Covid disrupted South Seas Island Resort's beloved 'Scout About' scavenger hunt for kids, Geo AR Games stepped in with the Scout About App to allow socially distanced play. Through the app, young adventurers use QR codes to collect captivating animations and learn about local flora and fauna. Completing the scavenger hunt rewards them with a personalised pirate dance video and an ice cream voucher, enhancing their experience.
The app serves both as a fun-filled adventure and an educational tool, encouraging children to explore the resort’s grounds and appreciate its natural surroundings. Developed in collaboration with South Seas Island Resort, the Scout About App allows participants to share their achievements on social media, creating lasting memories and demonstrating how technology and imagination can keep the spirit of adventure alive.
