Climate change and natural hazards are hard topics to think about. Most people understand the risks in theory, but that doesn’t mean they know what they’d actually do when those risks arrive on their doorstep.

“What’s the Plan Stan” is an augmented reality educational game by Geo AR Games that teaches children aged 6–12 how to respond to natural disasters like storms, earthquakes, and floods. Developed in partnership with New Zealand’s civil defence agencies, the game uses interactive 3D scenarios to engage students in emergency preparedness through fun, movement, and gamified learning.
